Kids love the ability to lower the rim to 5ft. Gives my back a rest because I don't have to lift them to shoot the ball in at a higher setting. The overall system/pole is very stable. However, the backboard does bounce slightly at lower levels. I've only had the system a month or 2, so I can't comment on the weather resistance yet. The kids, and to be honest, myself, all love to hang on the rim. The lifetime warranty is an exceptional feature that really swayed me towards ProDunkHoops. Lastly, I had a professional installer set up my system. There is no way I could have done that on my own. I do wish that there was a better/more permanent way to gauge the height of the rim. I foresee that sticker wearing soon or losing the black hanger that currently marks the height.

I play basketball in high school and this helps me practice. The backboard, rim, and the system in general is all high quality stuff. Love it

I had a contractor pour me a large concrete pad in my side yard. He installed the base for me. I did the rest of the install in about 1 hour. 2 friends helped hold the backboard for me (took 3 minutes of their time). The rest I did myself with just a wrench. The set up is great. It really is the nicest B-Ball hoop in our area. It seemed expensive at the time of purchase but when I compare the quality of it against the cheaper rolling hoops on our block, I feel it was a great buy. I suspect it will last a long long time.

My family loves this product. Our boys are 4 and 6 and this product is great for both of them. My 4 year old loves the way the hoop can be down all the way to 5 feet tall. it really gives him the confidence to keep on shooting! My 6 year old loves the professional look and has spent a ton of time playing already! This product is great for the whole family!

The hoop draws our teenager's friends to our house and keeps them entertained for hours. Extra thick backboard a real plus. Hoop doesn't wobble or shake and is very easy to adjust. Even out 10 y.o. girl easily lowers and raises it. Very happy with the purchase.

Hardest part is the cement but actually setting up the hoop is easy. I actually put up the back board myself. I moved my truck all the way to it and put the back board on the tail gate I then lowered the hoop all the way to the back board and bolted it on.

Installed two of these at a local elementary school. The kids love them and the price is very fair. The silver system is really solid. Can tell when the ball hits the backboard how solid this system is. The only minor complaint is that the kids try to crank it too low and in doing so they have actually bent a small height limiting bar and put an impression on the backboard arms. It's not that big a deal but it would be better if the lower limit was regulated by the crank mechanism and not a bar on the post. That's the only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 stars. Bottom line. If I needed a hoop in my driveway, the PD silver would be at the top of my shopping list. It's a great unit.

The product is well designed, and well made this means that it went together exactly as the instructions said, no missing parts not misaligned holes. It performed as advertised when assembled, sturdy and strong. Surprisingly easy to install , digging the hole was a pain (as always) & concrete is messy and waiting for it to harden is a frustration but the easy adjust base plate made the assembly simple. I found a great trick that enable me to bolt the backboard on myself. I have a dodge ram 1500 truck, with the use of a moving blanket i was able to level the back board onto the bed of the truck, then lever the backboard on to the roof of the cab. drive the truck under the arm lower an bolt on! Simple!

I installed the unit myself with no problems. Simply follow the directions. The hardest part was digging the hole but I wanted it sturdy. This thing doesn't hardly move when dunking. The backboard is very heavy duty. The only problem is it will attract neighbors and friendly contests and you may not get to park in your driveway.

I don’t wright a lot of reviews unless something is worth it and the system is worth it… (I purchased the Pro Dunk Siliver) The directions are straight forward and easy to self install. Easy to adjust the height of the back board. It is getting a daily workout from pickup games to dunk contest, horse etc. Slightly more expensive than other systems but absolutely worth it!!!!!

Our neighborhood has Goalrilla systems - my neighbors are jealous of my goal. SOLID PRODUCT - you can tell the difference between the two systems. At one time we may have 3 or 4 basketball's being shot at the goal. No movement on the goal - just solid. What I like the best is how low it can go, so my oldest son will get the little kids involved playing too. Just an amazing system.

Very happy with the hoop itself. Very easy installation. Watching the video really helps. 2 minor problems.1- Backboard is mounted a little crocked. The backboard comes pre-assembled by the factory and mine was not level. 2- If you have a cover for the pole, be sure not to trim too close with your weed wacker. Tears right thru the material. This is one is my fault.

I allowed my wife to talk me into an inexpensive option when we built our house 4 years ago. that system made it 3 years.... After installing this system my 15 year old boy commented immediatly that "the back board doesn't shake at all when I shoot!" I also love the ability to lower the rim to 5.5' or so. This is perfect for my 4 year old son that loves to be out there playing with the big boys! This is a great product and a great value when compared to the other systems I looked at.

Great quality product! My 9 year old son can raise or lower the height by himself. The system was fast and easy to install and has been a ton of fun for the family.

After installing the goal it only took one day to realize how many kids live on our mountain. Kids from elementary to high school have stopped by to play. They have played at regulation height and lower for good ole jam ball. The durability of the system has been wonderful. No need to worry about kids slamming away to their hearts content, I actually encourage it! Great product to keep the kids active. Enjoy the fact it brings all these kids around in a safe environment. Thanks

We have four kids and many neighbor kids that are using this product. We built a half court in our backyard and this goal is getting a lot of use. The goal looks great and seems like it is really well made. I have kids ranging from 6-17 and the ease with which the kids can change the goal height is so important to us. So far anyway, we haven't found anything we don't like although we've only been using it for about a month. I don't foresee any problems but I will keep you posted.

Straightforward setup, really easy to adjust with huge range between 5'-10'. Digging the hole was a drag, but kind of fun to pour the concrete. We will get years and years of play out of this hoop.

I compared goals for a long time before picking ProDunks. Don't regret my choice. Solid, well-built and easy to set up. Me and my son did all the setup with help from one neighbor to put on the backboard. Looks great, plays well. It's not absolutely stable, but I imagine much less backboard movement than any other brand with less rigidity. If you want rock solid, a solid, non-adjustable goal is the way to go. For family fun in the driveway--this is perfect! Don't know yet about the weather resistance. Too soon. As of now, no negatives at all.

I did a ton of research -- box stores and on-line. This is clearly the best quality hoop for the money. Buying basically the same hoop at a local specialty store would have cost twice what I paid for the Pro Dunk. Buying at a box store would have been a big mistake -- half the quality for the same price. The Pro Dunk hoop is very stable and the backboard barely shakes even if you hit it hard. The construction couldn't be more solid. Also, I was glad I went with the 54" backboard (and not the 60") for my 2 1/2 car driveway -- it is plenty of backboard for the space and for my 7 year-old son.

I purchased this hoop for my kids (Ages 7 and 4) to grow with and for myself (I play often). The shipping was very quick and the delivering company was great. They put it right in my garage. One box was ripped a bit and covered with another piece of cardboard that was taped on it. Something had gone through the box and rubbed up against the pole. There was no permanent damage that I could find, but thought the box should have been changed and the pole inspected rather than fixing the box. The hoop was easy to install. The written directions were decent. There was an inconsistency with materials described and what I actually received (number of washers), but I received a response quickly from Ryan when I asked a question to clarify. The videos on the website helped the most. The hoop plays great. The backboard response is awesome and the hoop is very study especially at 10ft. I have no complaint with the play on this hoop at all. I have dunked a few times (at 9 and half feet) and there was very little sway (I'm about 220 lbs). The springs in the hoop and sprint assist on the back of pole (used to help raise and lower the hoop) make a little more noise than I thought - especially in the spring assist tube. Its louder than I thought when you front end a shot, but this could be normal. I have not owned a hoop with these springs before so I don't know. Its just a little annoying - not enough to stop playing... I wish I had went with the 60 inch backboard because there are some shots thats come off the rim and end up behind the hoop because of the smaller backboard. If I had a larger backboard, they would come off the board in play. But, I tried to save some money. I purchased the extra Rust Armor protection because I want this hoop to last. I am a little concerned with this because there is a spot on the hoop and on a couple bolts that appear to be oxidizing already - not a good sign. Hopefully, someone reads this and lets me know what I should do about it if it continues. This is a concern for me and the reason for the 4 stars. The ball they give you is good quality, but the pump is not. It's already broke, but I have others so its not a concern to me. I didn't purchase the hoop for a pump. Overall, I would definitely make this purchase again. I don't think the box stores can compete with the quality at the same price as Pro Dunk Hoops.

We put this in our newly paved driveway. We have 4-year-old triplets and the low goal setting of 5' was a huge deal. They love it. We recently had family over and even the 3-year-old could make baskets with some practice. His parents emailed me yesterday and are planning to purchase one for their home. It is very durable and the setup was very easy. My husband and his cousin put it together without any problems.

This product is perfect for all generations. It gets used by my five year old son and 33 year old husband with friends. It can withstand a lot of hard play and shows no sign of ware. I am thrilled this is the system we chose. It is a much higher quality that a lot of systems you would find in your local sports store. Worth the $$, as I know this system will be used for many years to come!
