I got this Pro Dunk Hoop Platinum for my kids (4 and 2) to grow into. I was pleasantly surprised that it goes lower than 5 feet and my 4 year old is able to dunk on it.

This hoop is better than the rest. A little more pricey than the rest, but worth every nickel. Great backboard response very sturdy given its size and weight. First winter coming up, I will update after the winter and see how well it handles a Pennsylvania winter. Had two neighbor boys help install the 72" backboard but the rest I did by myself with zero problems. The anchor system was easy to level, only suggestion I would have for DIY'ers is to not over wet the concrete when pouring. Not being a concrete guy, I over wet it to play it safe and leveling the anchor plate (most important step) was more time consuming than it needed to be.

Hoop is stable. Backboard is excellent and sturdy. base/main pole is very stable and strong. The built in padding is great and worth it. Definitely, recommend hiring an expert installer. We hired one from the Tampa area and he was great.

the quality of the product is great I paid extra money for the corrosion resistant package and have corrosion beginning on some of the painted members. I'm not sure if this can be addressed but I am now questioning the extra money spent!!

Solid material and great look. It's only been up a week, will see how the rust free works. It's easy enough to adjust heights with a turn handle that even my 5 and 7 year old kids can do it. I have no regrets on this purchase at all.

Really nice b ball goal. I was disappointed I the basketball thay came with it. Seems like it would be a more quality ball. Other than that I was extremely happy!!!!

Amazing basketball goal upgrade for my kids. Amazing upgrade for all my neighbors. There is no question that this has been a hit for my family, my kids, the neighborhood kids and the neighborhood adults. The adults have pulled out their "Chuck Taylors", "Rebook Air pumps" and the old fashion "Air Jordan's"....yes we think we can still ball at age 41..... Great goal. Great gift. Great idea!!!!!!!

Great product however hand crank (actuator) had to be replaced within weeks of receiving item as the gears slipped. Overall a good product but could be better quality for the price. Would still recommend. The installers they recommend is not a reliable company. Get your own.

Love the goal. Installed it myself, with the hardest part digging the hole. The rebar that was included needed to be longer. I was able to get it installed in time for my 8 year old's b-day. The kids had a blast. They were able to raise/lower it themselves, dunk, and hang on the rim. They thought they were big time!!! Thanks

Strongly recommend. Built like a tank. This is our second time purchasing a platinum basketball hoop. We recently moved and I think my boys were the most upset about leaving our old house because they were leaving the platinum basketball hoop. This time, however I got the 4 ft overhang instead of 5 ft which I like better. Also got the light kit to extend playing time outside.

This was a great purchase for our family! It is very well made. We are very impressed with the quality. The backboard is solid and having a full sized backboard makes playing that much more enjoyable. The goal is easy to adjust up and down and because it lowers to 5' my 7 year old can easily shoot on it. We installed the goal ourselves. The hardest part was digging the hole. We've had so much fun playing with family and friends. Several of our friends have said it is the nicest goal they've played on. We would highly recommend this product.

Way better quality than the leading competitor's hoops. I check them out at the leading sports stores. Fast delivery, very easy to install. Installation manuals had pictures, easy to read directions. Overall best bang for your buck. Kids love it, I'm playing on it and having fun.

Since the installation of the Platinum Pro Dunk last week, our entire family of five enjoys an evening game of basketball after dinner each night. I am so grateful for this product because not only is it an amazing practice tool for our 10 year old son who has just started playing basketball, but it has also given our family an opportunity to laugh, play, have some healthy competition, and enjoy the outdoors each evening. We haven't missed a night yet!
