I am NOT a handy guy, but even I could set this up easily. Digging the hole was by far the hardest past. Rim is rock solid and great feel off the backboard.

I have 3 children at home that use this product several hours a day. The system is very stable and responds like the high school boards. The system is very ajustable and provides a great basketball work out everyday.

Purchased corrosion resistant upgrade. Hasn't been installed long enough to be able to judge value. Installation video a must to view. Written directions have gaps.

This basketball goal is very well built and worth the money. The backboard has a solid response and the height adjustment is very easy. I have read other reviews with people complaining about the amount of cranking required for height adjustment. I don't understand their issues here. It seemed fine to me. The Pro Dunk goal is an attractive addition to our place and we enjoy it very much.

Perfect in ground system. Solid - no rattle or cheap sounds...and we can hang from the rim like a pro! All kids love coming over and shooting on our Pro Dunk. We went Gold and happy we did - perfect size for medium and up sized driveways. Looks great and plays great. And if you're in NY, you have to use Anthony Vega for the install - skip all the rest. Anthony did an excellent clean job IN ONE DAY...couldn't recommend him more. After having a portable piece of crap this piece of equipment is unparalleled.

The whole system is exactly as advertised - very solid construction, easy for the kids to lower to "dunking" level and it looks great! Neighbors and friends have asked about where we got it and commented on how great it looks and plays. When the system arrived, the truck was too large to back in to the driveway and I ended up needing to help the truck driver unload and get the boxes into the garage. I did the install myself and while digging the hole and mixing the concrete took more time than I anticipated, the actual setup went very well (with a couple of guys to help out).

Kids love it, competitively priced, looks good on pole system next to house, variable heights allow all kids to grow into the system. Wish I would have got one years ago!

This product was easy to set up, very solid, and an all-around excellent hoop! My boy is 13 and he and his friends have been very rough on hoops in the past, but they are no match for this one.

We love the basketball hoop. My 7 year old can adjust it with one hand. I have only had it for a few months, so can't talk about weather resistant, but I did buy the stainless steel bolts and after watering the grass everyday do rust yet!!! Still looks new. Great hoop. I also paid someone to install it. I have had lots of compliments on the hoop and recommend it to everyone.

My kids, ages 5 and 4, boy and girl, LOVE this hoop! I love the ease of adjustment, and, the full range of hoop heights! Everyone in the neighborhood gathers at our house to play...another huge benefit...knowing the kids will be at play, at home, for years to come.

Easier to set up than expected. Awesomly sturdy construction and materials. We made a 30' x 30' court to play on in the yard and this hoop system is as close to being in the gym as possible. The only downside is that we're outside and subject to the elements. Great product!

We had been looking for a residential basketball system that would provide a stable backboard for better play. Like most people (probably!!) we started our search by looking at less expensive options. However, after doing a lot of internet research and stopping to look at systems when we saw them installed at other places, it was not hard to realize that less expensive systems are really just lesser systems. The systems at the $500-1000 range really do not provide a better system than the cheap portable systems with the water/sand base. Once I started focusing on the Pro Dunk Hoops systems, it was clear that there is honestly TRUE VALUE in their products. Yes, they are more expensive than some other systems. However, this is one of those times when you really get what you pay for. We now have a basketball hoop at our house that is fun for everyone. My teenager sons and their friends can shoot hoops and play like they were at a real gym. However, we can easily lower the height of the rim and have younger kids have complete fun as well. Once you consider all of these things, the systems proves its value. One last thing: Don't be intimidated by the thought of putting this together. Honestly, the most difficult part is digging the hole and mixing the concrete. There is no skill involved in doing either of those tasks. Assembling the system itself seemed like it would be a challenge....especially when the delivery truck brings several large and heavy boxes to your home. However, once the concrete had properly hardened, we had the system up within two hours and that was us going really slowly. Enjoy your Pro Dunk Hoops system. You won't regret it.

I spent an entire weekend digging footing, mixing concrete and putting the goal together. It was hard work but very rewarding to have such a quality product.

I did a good amount of research before I decided on the Pro Dunk Hoop (PDH) Gold model. I read a bunch of reviews about all different manufactured hoops and one about the Goarilla caught my eye. The reviewer said that he bought the Goarilla 60" hoop, set it up, and dunked on it. After that dunk he had a rattle in the hoop every time a ball hit the rim and he tried everything, but could not get rid of the rattle. He then called the company and they said dunking and hanging is not covered under their warranty. He also said if you want to dunk (which was my #1 criteria) then go with a Pro Dunk Hoop. Since I read that review, I started looking into Pro Dunk Hoop and never looked back. I decided on the 60" Gold model and could not be any happier!!! I even convinced my neighbor to go with the same hoop and he couldn't be happier. I grew up building dunk hoops out of wood, and I built some impressive hoops. I wanted a rock solid hoop that I could lower down to 8-9 ft and go to town and that is exactly what is sitting in my driveway! I decided to take on the installation myself including the concrete footer. I actually ended up emailing, as well as calling 'Ryan' from PDH support to ask very specific questions about installing the footer as well as installing the hoop on a less than perfectly flat driveway. I was extremely impressed with the professional support I received, specifically with the timely responses and detailed information I received. All of my questions were answered with perfect satisfaction and as a result my hoop came out awesome! I don't think PDH's support could be any better. I successfully installed the concrete footer and installing the hoop is very easy. It was myself (38 yr old male) and two buddies of similar age and we had it up and were dunking within an hour. The design of this hoop is awesome and very well thought out, which makes installing it very easy. We setup the hoop, set it to 8.5 feet and started hammer on this thing, and I mean hammering. It has been about a month now since it was installed and it looks as good as day 1. I love the fact that you can lower the hoop to 5ft for my boys ages 5 and 8 and both of them can raise and lower the hoop themselves. The response you get from the backboard is perfect as well as the reaction from the rim when a shot comes up short and 'clangs' off the rim. There is no rattle and it actually has a professional sound. Everything about this hoop is perfect! The backboard pads as well as the pole and gussett pad (pad around the bottom to cover the bolts) is very cool and make the hoop look professional. Bottom line, the hoop looks awesome, it plays awesome, it is extremely well built and the support you will receive from PDH is second to none! If you are looking for a REAL nice hoop for your driveway, buy a hoop from Pro Dunk Hoop. I really can't say it enough. Don't look at any other manufacturers. The research has been done, and no-one beats Pro Dunk Hoop. You will be so psyched when you have one in your driveway!

The Produnk Gold is incredibly solid, well made, and a nice looking hoop. We love that hoop can be lowered five feet. The anchor bolt system was easier than I expected to install, although I'm a pretty proficient DIYer. Customer service was prompt about responding to an email question I had about hole depth for the anchor. I put the post and backboard together myself (about an hour of work) with about two minutes of help from my neighbor and his ten-year-old son when putting up the backboard.

Very heavy, so I used a professional installer. It is very sturdy and doesn't shake at all. Can lower down to nearly 5' which is great for my 4 year old.

Lets begin with the acknowledment that this is a terrific basketball system for our home. Here's the background. I am a former college level player, as are both my kids. Prior to selecting our Pro dunk hoops system i looked at everything on the market. Not having seen or "played" on a Pro Dunk unit, my main decision was based on an installation requirement that the pole itself had to fit beneath the overhang of my roof while allowing the backboard to cantaliver out without the support beams hitting the eaves. After speaking with Ryan, and doing a little math, i was satified it would fit. Next came a full week of indecison as i had to decide between the smaller gold or the larger platinum. The order was placed for the Gold model and a couple of outstanding young guys, Tracy and Casey, from Fitness Service Center came down for the install. I would highly recommend these guys if anyone in the san diego area is looking for an installer. So the system went up and all of us were truly shocked at how "gym like" the feel of this hoop and glass really is. Now, for the only issue i have.... I should have gone with the full sized Platinum model. The concern that the regulation size glass would overwhelm the front of my house was unfounded. I realized that when the Gold backboard went up and of course you see right thru it to the roof tiles. The Gold is great, but you do loose alot of shooting angle both from the sides and the top. If you are at all vacillating between the two, go with the bigger glass (platinum)

I had never heard of Pro Dunk Hoops until researching on the internet for a new in-ground system and was hesitant to not go with another system that I had seen in sporting goods stores. We installed this to replace an old in-ground hoop that broke last year. We really like the ease of adjustment and the stability of the rim and backboard. This is very little sway in the rim or backboard no matter how hard the ball hits the rim. Installation was a breeze, but you will need some strong help to mount the backboard if you do your own install. We like the large distance from the post to the backboard as it opens up the baseline area to work on baseline specific moves. I didn't like the way the product showed up to my house though. All of the shipping boxes were beaten up pretty badly and I had to go through each one to make sure there was no damage before accepting shipment. Although everything was undamaged, it was still a hassle. Overall I feel very good about the purchase.

Very happy with the quality of our BB Goal. It is heavy duty and easy to adjust. Had a problem with one of the rim bolts but, called the customer service guys and they took care of it immediately so, way to go service guys. This is the best BB set-up I have been around. Very Happy and would recommend to everyone.

driveway family basketball goal. My kids are 5 and younger so wanted something that would last, but also adjustable for them to play at current age, but easy to put back to accurate height for me. very pleased with the product. high quality. Cheaper than box store. looks great in our driveway. Was able to install by myself with 10 mins lifting help from a friend to mount backboard.

I wanted something solid but adjustable so my six- and thirteen-year-old sons would enjoy it as much as I would. I opted to do the install myself, which was fine, although digging the hole took quite a while through 36 inches of rocky New England soil. Still, the resulting post is solid and the backboard and hoop response are superior to any other driveway system I've seen.
