Every part of the heavy-duty Pro Dunk® system has been designed to exceed performance expectations under extreme playing conditions. The Pro Dunk® goal is completely warranted for dunking and hanging on the rim. Other manufactures did not design their hoops for this kind of aggressive play and will not warrant it.

The Genuine Pro Dunk® backboard is renowned for its quality construction. Hoops Inc. has been perfecting the backboard design for over 22 years. The result is a proven design that is expertly executed to produce unparalleled durability desired by many and had by few.

One of the most recent advances is our new 1/2" thick tempered glass backboard which is available on many models. The increased weight of the thicker backboard makes it much more resilient to movement while boasting unsurpassed rigidity.

We didn't cut corners when engineering the Pro Dunk backboard. A solid 1/2" aluminum frame is tied together at the corners with heavy-duty steel "L" supports for added stability. The rigid square joints are stronger than alternatives and add incredible stability to the glass and acrylic backboard.

Backboard markings including the perimeter and shooter square are sand-blast etched into the back of the backboard and not painted onto the front. This durable finish effectively resists the elements and avoids wear and tear from play on the front of the backboard.

Heavy-duty padding is securely mounted to the lower half of the backboard using a steel insert that keeps fasteners from pulling out. The padding has a urethane skin which adds excellent water resistance and ensures you will enjoy years of safe play.

The Rust Armor package is the ultimate corrosion protection system. It was designed to ensure your system endures a lifetime of brutal weather conditions. Stainless steel fasteners and a galvanized coating will stand up to corrosive costal air, salty snow piles, dense humidity and more. Don’t settle for other manufacture’s untreated steel which may weaken over time causing failures and an unsafe playing evironment.
